Due to the forecasted weather, this Friday's ROCK-athon has been postponed to Friday, October 23.
Here's the bright side: that's one more week to reach our goal. Thank you to every family who has already supported our students. Every pledge counts, and this extra week could make the difference.
We're at $4,190 of our $10,000 goal.
Students should keep collecting through Friday, October 23. Families can donate online or sign up to volunteer on the new date.
Our mission is to provide all students with engaging learning opportunities in a safe educational environment that inspires them to take intellectual risks, achieve personal excellence, and participate in responsible citizenship.
Students need to take risks and have choice in their learning to feel empowered—taking ownership and becoming active participants in shaping it.
A school community includes adults willing to know each student as a whole person and meet their basic needs.
Choice in what students learn and how they demonstrate their knowledge fosters real engagement.
Students succeed when they’re invested and engaged in active, relevant learning.
If our learning community focuses on social-emotional learning through the development of strong relationships between students and teachers, and teachers use data to design math and literacy lessons in each content area that incorporate elements of personalized learning, then students will demonstrate increased academic achievement in math, reading, and writing.
